Seven Resourcing joins the REC

After an extremely successful audit, we’re proud to announce that Seven Resourcing is now a corporate member of the REC.

Achieving this prestigious seal of approval was no easy feat. Our compliance, payroll, and HR teams were tested to the limit. All company processes, policies, and systems were placed under the magnifying glass before the REC declared Seven as an agency that complies with all the highest industry standards.

What is the REC?

Formed in 1930 and governed by an elected council of industry experts, The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is a professional body for the UK recruitment industry. Dubbed as the ‘voice of recruitment’, the REC supports recruitment agencies, job seekers, and employers by setting the highest possible industry standards and promoting best practices throughout the staffing sector.

The REC says “We drive standards and empower UK recruitment businesses to build better futures for their candidates and themselves. We are champions of an industry which is fundamental to the strength of the UK economy.”

Why is REC membership important?

For Seven’s clients and candidates, after passing the REC’s rigorous audit with flying colours, you now have peace of mind that you are using one of the UK’s most efficient and effective recruitment agencies. It also means we can build more intelligent and proactive recruitment services, so employing the right people and finding the best roles just became even easier with Seven Resourcing.

For Seven, REC membership is another step in the right direction towards achieving our main goal – to build the best experience in recruitment. REC membership is a badge of honour for recruitment agencies as it showcases firms who are willing to go the extra mile for their people. At Seven, everything we do is a conscious effort to create higher standards in recruitment, and the REC is now an important piece of that strategy.

Director, Richard Cooke on Seven’s REC corporate membership; “The REC is the most widely recognised professional body in recruitment and we’re proud to be a part of their network. At Seven, we work tirelessly to develop and improve innovative recruitment services for our customers’ benefit and provide incredible working environments for employees. The REC is not only a seal of approval, it allows us to tap into a new world of industry expertise and support for the benefit of our people”.
